Evaluation of Empowering YOUth Initiatives (EYI)

Hugh Watson Consulting is currently undertaking a review of three projects as part of the Department of Employment’s evaluation of the Empowering YOUth Initiatives (EYI) Programme. That programme has the following objectives:

  • preventing a young person from becoming long-term unemployed;
  • addressing barriers including very complex and multiple barriers to young people getting a job; and/or
  • assisting targeted young people in sustaining employment once they do get a job.

The consultants will be reviewing three projects on the south coast of New South Wales and in Western Sydney.

Review of Operational Partnerships in the Remote Indigenous Broadcasting sector

Hugh Watson Consulting is conducting a review of operational partnerships in the remote Indigenous broadcasting sector. The review is obtaining details on how the operational partnerships existing in the remote Indigenous broadcasting sector are working, analysing the efficiency, effectiveness and equity of the current operational models in use and providing advice on ways the Indigenous Broadcasting Program can assist the remote Indigenous broadcasting sector promote equity and streamline the delivery of remote Indigenous broadcasting services.
